​Hello, my name is Jonathan Perez, and I am a creative spirit from the city of L.A. (June 5th, 1988.) 

I started playing music in 2006 when I was asked to join my friend's band, The Absynths. A psychedelic rock group that incorporated latin, funk, & electronic sounds. I went on to play guitar, synthesizer, and percussion with the group until 2018.

During that time, I developed a passion for performing live, connecting with other people in the creative community, and organizing events.

Following my time with the band, I decided to reflect and focus on my personal life. During that process, I also started to work on my guitar and songwriting skills.

​What came out was an exploration that was ambient, dreamy, and atmospheric, as well as lively and energetic.

Inspired, I set out to create new music and experiences promoting peace, freedom, empathy, love, and understanding.

Aside from my musical work, I also work on concert photography with my girlfriend Alba Castro under the name, Miel y Fuego.
