Smooth R&B infused with hip-hop sensibilities and social awareness. These cats laid a really smooth set at East Side Luv for Persistence of Sound's 3rd year anniversary event. The radio show features selected tracks by Gary Alvarez and interviews with a variety of creative cats from around L.A. I had the pleasure to be on his show last year and greatly admire his love for music and connecting the community. My girlfriend and I attended the event and took photos with our camera and a new lens given to her by her sister for Christmas. It was really great to see the difference between our other lens and definitely opened up our appreciation for photography. The band basically serenaded us with good vibes and chill melodies while inviting a sense of contemplation with their own wisdom. It was a really wonderful night filled with music, drinks and intimate conversations. Here's to many more adventurous nights with my girlfriend, Alba Castro, and much love to everyone who was a part of that night! Much love Gary!
