~SUEÑO ESTELAR~ (323)719-4410 [email protected] ~ My name is Jonathan Perez, and I am a creative spirit from the city of L.A. (June 5th, 1988.) The name "Nadidah" is originally Arabic and means, "Equal to anyone else." I started playing music in 2006 when I was asked to join The Absynths. I went on to play guitar, synthesizer, and percussion with the group until 2018. During that time, I developed a passion for performing live music, organizing events, and connecting with other people in the creative community. Following my time with the band, I took some time to reflect and focus on my personal life. During that process, I started to work on my guitar and songwriting skills. What came out was an exploration that was ambient, dreamy, and atmospheric, as well as lively and energetic. Inspired, I set out to create new music and experiences that promote peace, freedom, empathy, love, and understanding. ~ Hello, my name is Jonathan Perez, and I am a creative spirit from the city of L.A. (June 5th, 1988.) Sueño Estelar is a creative musical project that is dreamy and atmospheric, and at other times voracious and energetic. (A multifaceted dream.) Through music, I hope to inspire a sense of hope while giving people a chance to breathe. To reflect and meditate on life and its many wonders. To swim in a sea of emotions and acceptance. Live, I slip/swim between storytelling and song, exploring different themes and emotions. Intimate and empathetic. Voracious and energetic. Ever shifting like the energies/moods that make us. In the end, I hope to create experiences that promote peace, freedom, equality, love, and understanding. (Personal and Social) reflect, breathe, meditate, inspire, hope, live storytelling, variety of thoughts, themes & ideas empathetic, emotive, atmosphere, energetic, voracious, raw, and intimate, Hopeful, emotive, with a sense of com(passion.) Whatever shape or form this expression takes, I set out to inspire in a reflective state. Dreaming of and encouraging peace while welcoming the day we can all be. Peace, Freedom, Empathy, Love, and Understanding. |
